Candace and Sarah joined their solo practices two years ago so that each could better serve her clients. Together they have created an office that helps individuals and families achieve their goals with respect to their estates and their businesses. Candace Vogt
Attorney
Candace began her law practice in Alabama after graduating from Vanderbilt Law School in Nashville. While in Birmingham, Candace practiced with a large local firm and taught law school classes focusing on estate planning and property law. She later moved to Texas, where she branched out to a small practice with an emphasis on sophisticated estate planning and planning for small family businesses.
Sarah R. Duff
Attorney
Sarah, a native Texan, began her career in civil litigation in Dallas before transitioning to focus on estate planning, probate, and guardianship. A graduate of Austin College and Texas Tech University School of Law, Sarah has received the Texas Lawyers Rising Star designation six years running (Thomson Reuters 2015-2021). Sarah previously served as the Chair of the Collin County Bar Association’s Estate Planning and Probate Section and the Chair of the McKinney Chamber of Commerce women’s group.
Dina Schaeffer
Legal Assistant and Office Manager
Dina has been with the firm as Administrative Assistant and Office Manager from its start. She is an invaluable part of our team. Dina attended Abilene Christian University where she majored in Business Marketing and has a background in communications. Dina and her family live in Allen. She spends most of her free time attending her children’s sporting events, entertaining and walking.
